Tesla | Firmware | Factory mode
Factory mode on Tesla's is the ultimate tool on accessing internal tools. It also opens up the diagnostic port and lets you connect Toolbox for advanced functions.
This feature will only work if you gave downgraded to 2022.8.10.5. Please see my previous guide on how to do that. The ports for following commands are locked in newer firmwares.
Like I described in my downgrade guide you need to take the Fakra wire out of the IC and then connect that wire to your computer. Essentially making your laptop the IC. Make sure your laptop has 192.168.90.101 as the IP-address.
Then you can open Chrome and in the URL-bar first type in
http://192.168.90.100:4070/_data_set_value_request_?name=GUI_featureConfig&value=true
and then
http://192.168.90.100:4070/_data_set_value_request_?name=GUI_factoryMode&value=true
Connect back the IC like it was originally wired and then the MCU will boot up into factory mode. Like mentioned earlier this will also unlock the diagnostic fakra port.
