Photographing an Audi A4 during sunset

Cars | Sunset | Pixel

The Audi A4 I photographed in the snow is now back and better looking than ever. This time I am shooting it in front of a very pretty sunset with my Google Pixel.

You may or may not remember this car from an earlier shoot I did under the northern lights with the city in the background. Now we are returning to the very same spot, but this time it is half a year later and the summer is in full effect. The car also has some new modifications to give the car a sleeker and more aggressive look. In addition to shooting these photos on my phone, they are also 100% unedited and straight from camera. Let's dive in!

First, let's take a look at the modification process. We started the evening by installing a new front grill. The new grill is completely black and resembles the RS line from Audi. Personally I think this is a must have and makes the car look so much better. We also blacked out the blue sticker on the license plate, shhh.

"Fun" fact; I left my friends for 5 minutes to go grab something and when I came back they had already attached the blackout sticker to the license plate. I was very curious to see the result as I had told them to wait until I came back. As expected they completely messed up the sticker... I was not surprised. The worst part is that they messed up twice. Whew. We're definitely getting new stickers and this time I'm going to apply them.

At least the weather was nice ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyhow, we fitted the new grill, mounted a new blacked out logo on it and then zip tied the license plate bracket to the honeycomb grill. Here is the result!

It looks a million times better than before. If you are curious on what it looked like before, you can see the last shoot here.

You can also see that he has got some new rims. Sweet!

The next step was to drive to the vantage point to photograph the whip. Here is the final images! Remember that these are 100% unedited, straight from my smartphone.

I am very pleased with how the pictures turned out. I absolutely love the Pixel's camera and processing. Happy photographer and happy Audi-owner!

How do you think the photos turned out? Please let me know down below! Thank you so much for reading!
