Android Q adds the ability to share and connect to WiFi networks using QR codes.

We have all had to type in a WiFi password that is painfully long and complex with letters, numbers, symbols and more. Google wants to ease this with Android Q by adding QR codes. Third party applications have allowed this for a long time so it is nice to see that this will be baked into the operating system. Google also says that they will allow sharing network passwords over NFC and Bluetooth in the near future. This is what the QR setup and sharing looks like.
